
False Allegation Leads to Severe Punishment
In Alwar, Rajasthan, a woman has been sentenced to two decades in prison for falsely accusing her nephew of rape. The investigation revealed that the two had communicated over the phone 832 times within six months, and the woman had invited her nephew to her home on multiple occasions.
After determining that all allegations were unfounded, the court found her guilty under the POCSO Act. Judge Himakani Gaur remarked that a maternal aunt holds a status akin to that of a mother, and the woman's actions were deemed disgraceful.
YouTuber Arrested for Theft in Madhya Pradesh
Meanwhile, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, a female YouTuber was apprehended for theft after her channel failed to gain traction. She allegedly stole jewelry worth over 1 million rupees from her friend's residence. The police tracked her down using CCTV footage and the registration number of her scooter.
