Reality television star Millie Radford revealed that she was left in "an absolute state" after being informed that a family member would require an emergency operation. The mother-of-three broke the news on her TikTok page alongside supportive husband Harly Passmore.

The announcement was about the couple's latest addition to their young nuclear family, a new puppy named Bella. "We've got some very, very sad news on Bella," Harley said about their dog in the video. "Basically, we found a lump on her, and Millie took her to the vets yesterday, and she has an outside hernia."

Millie added that the hernia is "affecting her bowel" and, along with her "split muscle", it's causing the dog health problems.

"So she needs to have an emergency operation tomorrow because if not, her bladder will basically just explode," Millie said.

But, according to the reality TV star, Bella is "really, really lucky" because she is a "small puppy" and the hernia is "actually really big." The hernia is believed to have been there since the dog was born.

The Sun reported that Millie said the situation had been tramautic because her four-year-old daughter Ophelia had also gone to the vet appointment.

"I took Ophelia with me because I wasn't expecting anything like yesterday," Millie stated. "And then I felt really guilty as well because I brought Ophelia with me and I was in an absolute state."

Her husband Harley added: "I've never seen Millie in bits before."

Millie promised to keep her followers updated about how the puppy does following the operation, after which Bella will stay at the vets for at least one night. A hernia is a condition where an internal organ or fatty tissue pushes through a tear or weakness in the muscle or surrounding tissue wall that's meant to contain it.

"We have some very sad news," Millie captioned the video when the announcement was first made.

In the comments section, people were quick to offer sympathy to Millie and Harley, as well as Bella herself. "Well done for noticing the lump and taking her in," one wrote.

"Aw no, sorry to hear this," another added. "Hope the surgery goes well for her tomorrow, sending hugs to you both."

"Poor puppy... she will do well, she's strong... stay positive, guys," a third offered.

"Thankful you caught it so quickly, I've heard of this happening, and they didn't catch it quickly enough!" someone else wrote.
