Did Shah Rukh Khan delay the shooting of ‘King’ due to injury?

According to a latest Mid-Day report, the producers have delayed shooting ‘King’ due to Shah Rukh Khan’s shoulder injury. The injury took him during the shooting of an action sequence of this action thriller. Quoting an internal source, the report said that the ‘King’ team stopped the shooting as the 59 -year -old superstar needs a few weeks of rest before facing the camera again.

The inner source further stated that King is a “action -rich” film, so the producer does not want to take any risk about Shah Rukh’s health.

The report further stated that the King was being shot in a long schedule in Mumbai. The producers of the film, directed by Siddharth Anand, were then planning its next schedule internationally. With the latest information, King’s team is now in the process of fixing the upcoming schedule.

Talking about the release date of King, the inner source further stated that the action thriller starring Suhana Khan was scheduled to release on Gandhi Jayanti in 2026. However, given the injury of Shah Rukh, the release date may proceed for a few months and plan to release it early in 2027.
