The multi-talented actress Sanya Malhotra recently talked candidly about her National Award-winning films. The actress said she never thought her efforts would be so fruitful. It should be noted that Jawan , Kathal , and Sam Bahadur have won national honors.

(You know, while shooting it never felt that way.) Shoot karte samay aisa lag raha tha bas mehnat karo, mehnat karo. (While shooting, it only felt like—just work hard, keep working hard.) The whole year I remember I was shooting MRS. I shot four films that year. I was shooting Jawan; in the middle I shot Kathal, then again we went back to Jawan. Then in between, I shot MRS. And amidst all this, we were also shooting Sam Bahadur. Then I had to return to Jawan again. Most of the time I was spending time at the airport. My entire team and I remember hum bags leke ek airport se dusare airport jaa rahe the. (My team and I were constantly carrying bags, moving from one airport to another.) Aur uss time pe mere dimaag pe aaya bhi nai ki inn sab ka reward national award hoga. (And at that time, it never even crossed my mind that all this would be rewarded with a National Award.) And it feels very special. Maine hamesha se socha hai hard work karo. Karam karo aur faal ki ich ana karo. (I have always believed—just work hard, do your karma, and don’t desire the fruits.) I never thought kabhi hoga mere sath. (I never thought something like this would ever happen with me.) Main sar jhuka ke 10 saal se kaam kar rahe hu. (I have been working with my head down for 10 years now.) Kabhi socha nai iska mujhe reward milna chahiye. (I never thought that I deserved any reward for it.) I am very happy."

National AwardsIt is noteworthy to mention that Kathal, starring Sanya Malhotra, took home the National Award for Best Hindi Feature Film this year. For Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan won Best Actor (she played a supporting role). Sam Bahadur took home the Best Makeup, Best Costume Design, and Best Feature Film Promoting National, Social, and Environmental Values awards. Sanya portrayed Vicky Kaushal's wife.
