
Health Desk. Liver (liver) is a very important part of our body, which is involved in many essential functions including digestion, cleaning of toxic elements and storage of nutrients. Due to changing lifestyle, irregular eating and increasing pollution, cases of liver diseases are increasing rapidly. But experts believe that if some special things are included in the daily diet, then the liver can be kept healthy for a long time.
1. Turmeric
The element called curcumin present in turmeric has powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It detoxes the liver and protects the cells from damage. Drinking hot milk or turmeric water is considered beneficial.
2. Garlic
Garlic contains compounds such as alicin and selenium, which help in cleaning the liver. Chewing 1-2 raw buds on an empty stomach in the morning is very beneficial for liver.
3. Green leafy
Vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, mustard etc. are rich in chlorophyll, which help in removing metals, chemicals and pesticides from the body. They make liver work easier and reduce inflammation.
4. Beetroot
Beetroot contains an antioxidant called beetaline that naturally cleanses the liver and encourages the manufacture of new cells. It should be taken daily in the form of salad or juice.
5. Walnuts
Omega-3 fatty acids present in walnuts increase oxygen supply to the liver and exclude toxic elements. It is beneficial to include a handful of walnuts in breakfast.
