Famous Punjabi comedian and actor Jaswinder Bhalla has passed away. He breathed his last on 22 August at the age of 65. His last rites will be performed at the Balongi crematorium in Mohali on the afternoon of August 23. The news of the comedians death has sent a wave of mourning through the industry. Who was Jaswinder Bhalla? Jaswinder Bhalla was a big name in the Punjabi film industry. He started his career in 1988 with a comedy show called Chhankarta 88. His film journey started with the film Dulla Bhatti. He was known for his comedy series Chhankarta and funny characters in Punjabi films. He used to use different taglines in every film which made the comedy in his films even more interesting. Apart from this he also does stage shows and has performed in Canada and Australia with a show called Naughty Baba in Town. Family background of Jaswinder Bhalla Bhalla was born on 4 May 1960 in Ludhiana city. His father Master Bahadur Singh Bhalla was a primary school teacher in village Barmalipur. Bhalla did his early education at Senior Secondary School Doraha. He pursued a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. degree from Punjab Agricultural University. After this he obtained his Ph.D. degree from Chaudhary Charan Singh Post Graduate College Meerut. Story Highlights Punjabi actor-comedian Jaswinder Bhalla died on August 22 at the age of 65.
