The Gorakhpur team had targeted 168 runs to win in front of Meerut, the score was achieved by the team on the strength of captain Rinku Singh’s stormy century, with 6 wickets and 7 balls remaining. After winning the toss, Gaur Gorakhpur Lions, who came out to bat first, were able to hit 167 runs on the board at the loss of 9 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs.
