Dhoni’s Deep Connection with the Armed Forces
The respect of the captain of the World Cup-winning team for the Indian military is well known. Dhoni was awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army in 2011. He has also been trained by the Para Forces and even made parachute jumps, which depicts his love for the Army.
