Sunita emphasised that no one else can understand her husband the way she does, and she is confident that no one will ever surpass that bond. Sunita said:

However, filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani, who has collaborated with Govinda on many projects before their fallout, shared a different perspective in an interview with The Indian Express. He said that no one can break the eternal bond between Govinda and Sunita.

According to him, Sunita is outspoken while Govinda has always remained loyal. Nihalani even remarked that, hypothetically, even if Govinda had multiple affairs, their marriage would still endure. He further revealed that the couple currently lives separately because Govinda’s work and late-night business meetings keep him at another bungalow.
