Lorraine Kelly reportedly pocketed around £13,000 a week last year despite ITV swinging the axe on jobs and cutting back her long-running morning show. The 65-year-old host's incredible earnings have been laid bare just weeks afterITV confirmed her daytime slot will be slashed to just 30 minutes in 2026, with bosses firing 220 staff in brutal cost-cutting measures.

But Lorraine's bank balance is still booming with figures for 2024 showing that her production firm Albatel Ltd is now worth £4.2million, which is up from £4million the previous year. The company shelled out £135,504 in corporation tax in 2024, pointing to earnings of around £677,520 - the equivalent of a whopping £13,000 every single week.

It marks a rise on the previous year, when Lorraine's firm paid £108,505 in tax, suggesting earnings of roughly £540,000. The Scottish presenter is also reportedly sitting on cash reserves of £3.3 million, with another £135,000 tied up in investments. But questions remain over how ITV's looming shake-up will hit her future pay packet.

A representative of Express.co.uk has contacted Lorraine for comment.

The news comes as it was announced from January 2026, Good Morning Britain will be extended by half an hour to fill the gap, running from 6am to 9.30am daily. Lorraine, which currently runs for almost the entire year, will now only air for 30 weeks out of 52, with GMB extended by 30 minutes during the weeks Lorraine is not on air, until 10am.

Lorraine has had a tough time as of late, as she revealed back in May that she needs to undergo surgery to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes. She shared a video on social media from her hospital bed on Saturday, saying she had not been "feeling all that well for a little while".

The ITV host said that the "wee procedure" was "purely preventative" and had been recommended after some scans and tests. Kelly added that she was "going to be totally fine" and praised hospital staff, saying she felt "very lucky to be treated so well" in the video's caption. Kelly also thanked gynaecologist Dr Ahmed Raafat and hospital staff.

The Scottish presenter was sent well-wishes by fellow ITV colleagues Katie Piper, Charlotte Hawkins and Susanna Reid on Instagram, who wished her "a speedy recovery".
