Guinea Heavy Rains: At least 11 people died and 10 were injured in landslide due to heavy rains in Koyah Province, 50 km from Capital Conkry, the capital of West African Country Guinea. The officers provided this information. According to a statement issued by the National Emergency Management Agency on Thursday, the landslide took place on Wednesday night in Maneh, a rural area of Koyh province.

According to reports, local resident corner Pepe said, “It was raining at around seven in the evening. I saw that suddenly the mountain broke and fell on the houses built in the foothills. The house was buried in its debris. No one survived. ”The search and rescue operation continued till late night.
Urban Planning and Housing Minister Mori Konde visited the spot and said, “A part of the mountain collapsed due to rain and fell on the buildings.” Officials said that some of the injured were in critical condition which could increase the dead number.
