Robert Downey Jr. and Ryan Reynolds , the prolific actors of Hollywood, are reportedly collaborating on the upcoming superhero film. However, fans are contemplating that they met with an unfortunate conflict during the shoot. Moreover, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has been facing a doomed fate, as the reports suggested that RDJ asked for the reshoot of scenes spanning over three weeks, despite being paid USD 50-60 million.
Robert Downey Jr. and Ryan Reynolds had a heated argumentIn a recent episode of The Hot Mic, John Rocha claimed that a joke went too far on the marvelous set. A conflict occurred between two actors when one of them significantly made a joke, which felt too similar to the other one. When the other felt the line being crossed, they confronted, leading to a heated argument between the two, according to a report by Cosmic Book.
The production house decided that they would be shooting individual scenes or figure out a peaceful way. As a response, fans now believe that it could be none other than the ‘Iron Man’ actor and the ‘Deadpool’ actor, but nothing has been officially said or confirmed by the involved members.
Robert Downey Jr. demanded reshoot...Meanwhile, Jeff Sneider claimed in the podcast that the scenes involving RDJ’s Dr. Doom had to be reshot. “They reshot three weeks' worth of material because apparently–this is just what I heard–they had an actor standing in for Downey Jr. In the (Doctor Doom) suit,” he said, before adding, “They had a body double and they had a face double and Downey stood off-camera reading the lines, okay.” However, after two to three weeks, Downey said, ‘This isn’t working. I want to reshoot everything with me in the suit.’
‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ directed by the Russo Brothers, will be released on December 18, 2026.
