Inauguration of FLO Job Fair 2025

On Saturday, Kapil Mishra, the Minister for Art, Culture & Tourism, officially opened the FLO Job Fair 2025, an event organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ladies Organisation (FICCI) at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur (SGBT) Khalsa College.

During his address, Mishra remarked, “This initiative is a remarkable step forward that was greatly needed in Delhi.” He expressed gratitude to the organizers, emphasizing that such job fairs would create new opportunities for the youth.

Addressing the employment challenges in the city, he stated, “The previous government's misguided policies have forced many young people to seek jobs in Gurugram and Noida. Our goal is to ensure that the youth can find employment right here in their own city. We are committed to equipping them with new skills and improved education to enhance job prospects.”

Mishra also mentioned that the government is collaborating with the Centre to develop a robust action plan aimed at revitalizing employment and industry.

He highlighted that the focus will be on establishing pollution-free industries, enhancing service sectors, and promoting Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics (AVGC), along with modern technology-driven industries and tourism.

Representatives from FLO, Neeta Boochra and Poonam Sharma, were also in attendance at the event.
