
Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’sWar 2 has turned out to be a big box office flop. Made at a reported budget of Rs 450 crore, War 2 is expected to lose over Rs 30 crore for its makers.
However, despite the film’s poor box office run, War 2 has achieved an all-time record at the box office beating all Bollywood films.

Despite starring one of the top Telugu superstars Jr NTR, War 2 flopped in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
However, the film has still become an all-time Bollywood grosser in Telugu thanks to Jr NTR’s presence.
The film has made over Rs 52 crore from its Telugu dubbed version and has taken down Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol’s Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Back in 2023, Animal made around Rs 45 crore in Telugu, as per Sacnilk.
Now, War 2 has collected over Rs 52 crore in just nine days.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, War 2 is expected to end its lifetime run at around Rs 340 crore at the worldwide box office.
In India, it is expected to hit around Rs 240 crore net with around Rs 180 crore coming from Hindi version alone.
