Heavy Storm in Romania: The fierce storm in Romania on Saturday caused huge havoc. According to emergency services report, three people were killed and four people were seriously injured in the accident. The storm affected 18 counties and the capital Bukharest. Trees and electric poles fell from place to place, more than 70 vehicles were damaged and the basements and courtyards of many houses were filled with water.

18 year old man dies

A 18 -year -old youth was killed and two others were injured when a roof of a building collapsed in Arges County. At the same time, the boat overturned while kaying at Snagov Lake in Ilfov County near Bucharest, killing two people drowned. Apart from this, two other people were injured when the roof collapsed in Prahova County and Bukharest. The four injured have been admitted to the hospital, but their condition is critical.

Meteorological Department had issued warning

On Friday evening itself, the Meteorological Department released 19 warnings in 12 counties and in Bukharests through RO alert system. The emergency agency said that two elderly women also died due to heavy rains and floods. Firemen had to use the excavation machine to remove a corpse from the river floor.
