New Delhi: West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose attended a special screening of the Bengali movie, ‘Goodbye Mountain’ on Saturday, August 23. The Governor attended the screening along with the lead stars of the film. He had all praises for the crew members and the storyline of the film.

West Bengal Governor C Ananda Bose showed enthusiasm in attending the premier of Bengali film, ‘Goodbye Mountain’. After the premier the office of the Governor posted about it on his official social media handle. They informed that a special screening of the film was held in Raj Bhavan.

Governor praises film

After watching the premier, Bose said, “The movie was an eye-feast and mind-feast. Smt. Rituparna Sengupta, as the heroine, showed her talent at its best in the film. Others also gave a matching performance and made the movie memorable and inspiring.”

On 23.08.2025 HG attended the screening of the movie “Goodbye Mountain” at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata, under the culture connect initiative.

The Governor was all praises for the actors and crew members of the film. He also felicitated the cast and crew after watching the movie. Pictures of the felicitation ceremony were shared on ‘X’ by the office of the Governor.

The film ‘Goodbye Mountain’ has been directed by Indrasis Acharya. The film’s starcast comprises Jayashree Adhikary, Indraneil Sengupta and Rituparna Sengupta among others. The film was released around a month back and it opened to good reviews in film theatres. The film has a good rating of 7.5 on IMDB.
