What happens if a parcel is lost or damaged by a delivery boy? In this situation the delivery boy has to compensate the company by depositing the exact value of the item lost or damaged during delivery. However while taking parcels for delivery from the companys warehouse if the delivery boy thinks that a parcel is already damaged in transit he can refuse to deliver it and return it. Anyone wishing to work as a delivery partner for Amazon can apply at the nearest Amazon office and submit the required verification form along with their documents. After successful verification new recruits must attend a 4-day training session during which they are the basics of the jobs including finding route information with GPS or map app talking politely and professionally to customers and handling their complaints. Training is also imparted on payment-related aspects like cash on delivery procedures keeping track of money and using online payments like wallets or UPI. The delivery boys are taught to update the status of order using mobile apps and special emphasis is laid on safety especially following traffic rules like wearing helmets and safety gear before embarking on their designated route. They are also taught to immediately report emergencies like accidents theft or any customer related problems and use emergency contact numbers.
