New Delhi Railway Station Rules: New regulations have been introduced regarding crowd management and security at New Delhi Railway Station. The ticket will have to be shown to enter the railway station.

Lakhs of people come and go every day at big railway stations like Delhi. Many passengers come only to drop off or pick up someone. The crowd at the station is so large that it becomes difficult for both security and management to control. For this reason, the railways have to change the rules from time to time. Recently, a new change has also been made for the New Delhi Railway Station.

With this, the question arising in the minds of the people is what kind of change is this and how will it affect the passengers. Will it become more difficult to enter the station now than before. So let us tell you that now no one will get entry to New Delhi Railway Station without showing the ticket. Know the new rules.

No entry in New Delhi station without platform ticket

Now it will not be possible to enter New Delhi Railway Station without a platform ticket. Railways have changed the rules so that crowd can be controlled and security is better. That is, if you are going to drop or pick up a passenger, then you will have to take a platform ticket first. This will allow only those people to enter the station who are actually needed.

This step is being considered important from the point of view of safety of passengers and the Railways says that this will reduce unnecessary crowd. If someone comes to drop a relative and does not have a platform ticket, then if caught, he will have to pay a challan.

A new trial has started at the railway station

Railways has started a new trial to reduce the heavy crowd in unreserved coaches at New Delhi Railway Station. Under this trial, only those passengers will be allowed entry inside the station who have tickets. The trial will run for a month and its purpose is to get a correct estimate of the crowd before the festivals. According to the rule, a maximum of 150 tickets will be given in each unreserved coach from the starting station.

While at the intermediate stations, only 20 percent tickets will be issued according to the capacity of the coach. That is, if a train has four coaches, then not more than 600 tickets will be sold from the starting station. Railways says that if this trial is successful then it can be implemented across the country.
