With Superman and F1 leading the latest worldwide box office charts, their milestones have drawn significant attention. While Superman continued to perform strongly in domestic markets, F1 maintained momentum overseas with solid international earnings. At the same time, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning held close behind, showing steady results in its global run.

Superman and F1 fly past $600 million at worldwide box office

According to Box Office MojoSuperman has earned $604,475,181 globally, with $346,975,181 from domestic markets and $257,500,000 from international territories. F1: The Movie stands at $603,408,240 worldwide, including $185,908,240 domestically and $417,500,000 internationally.

James Gunn directed Superman, which stars David Corenswet and premiered on July 11, 2025. The film had a reported production budget of $225 million. It is now the highest-grossing superhero release of 2025.

The movie outperformed Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. During its run, Superman also passed earlier titles such as Iron Man, Ant-Man, and Thor at the worldwide box office.

By mid-August, Superman had reached $595 million after six weeks in theaters. F1 stood at $590 million after eight weeks. During that period, Superman added $3.1 million overseas and $8.4 million globally.

F1 generated $9.3 million internationally and $12 million worldwide. It also became the highest-grossing film of Brad Pitt’s career. The movie surpassed the $540 million global total of World War Z.

F1 represented a significant investment, with Apple spending more than $250 million on production. Warner Bros. handled distribution. The film stars Brad Pitt as a retired Formula One driver who returns to the sport. Nearly 70% of its box office revenue has come from international audiences. Superman, by contrast, performed better domestically, with 57.4% of its earnings from North America.

Both Superman and F1 contributed to Warner Bros.’ strong 2025 box office slate. Other studio successes this year include A Minecraft Movie, Sinners, Final Destination: Bloodlines, and Weapons. On the 2025 worldwide chart, Superman and F1 rank sixth and seventh, just ahead of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
