Up t20: In the 14th match of the UP T20 League, Meerut Maveryx performed brilliantly in the match played at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow and defeated Noida Kings by 41 runs. Divyansh Rajput, who was the hero of this victory, scored an aggressive half -century and brought the team to a strong score. The bowlers also ensured victory by performing well.

Strong start of Meerut

Batting first after winning the toss, Meerut Mavricks scored 184/7 in 20 overs. Opener Swastik Chikhara gave a strong start and scored 21 runs in the first over of Kunal Tyagi with two sixes and a four in the first over. However, after the powerplay, Noida bowlers Naman Tiwari and Prashant Veer bowled tightly and brought Meerut under pressure. The result was that the score reached 45/2 at one time.

Divyansh’s banging innings

Rituraj Sharma (34) and Madhav Kaushik contributed a few runs, but after the two were dismissed, captain Rinku Singh also returned to the pavilion after scoring 10 runs. From Noida, Prashant Veer (39) and Karan Sharma (37) shared 75 runs and raised hope, but it was not enough. In the 19th over, Karthik Tyagi dismissed Karan and almost confirmed the victory.
