Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has revealed that her LinkedIn account, which she created for her business, has been marked as fake by the platform.
According to Indian media, the 38-year-old actress, last seen in the horror-comedy Steer 2, shared a note on her Instagram story tagging LinkedIn. She said she was facing issues with her profile on the networking site.
“I cannot use my LinkedIn account because the platform thinks it is fake. Can someone please help me?” she wrote. Kapoor added that her account is already created, premium, and verified — but others cannot see it. “I want to share my business journey, but making this account itself has become a journey,” she said.
Shraddha Kapoor is the co-founder and brand ambassador of a jewelry brand launched in 2022.
Her last film, Steer 2, released on August 15, 2024, became a huge box office hit, earning ₹857.15 crore worldwide. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also starred Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. It was a sequel to the 2018 film Steer. Makers have also announced a third installment, set to release in 2027.
