Notting Hill LIVE: Police officer hospitalised after attack as 140 arrested at carnival

A total of 140 people have been arrested on the first day of a popular carnival. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that of the dozens of arrests at the Notting Hill Carnival in London 15 were for assaults on police.
One officer required hospital treatment after sustaining injuries to their hand and the force confirmed all officers will receive the appropriate support.
