There is news of relief for lakhs of students of the entire state, including the district. The application process for Post Matric Scholarship 2024-25 will start from August 25. This time, this scholarship will also be given to the students of the Scheduled Caste, the Scheduled Tribe, the Backward Class, and the Extremely Backward Class. The last date of application has been fixed as 25 September. The Education Department has issued an official notification for this and given clear guidelines to the students and educational institutions.

According to the information, applications will be accepted under the Scheduled Caste Post Admission Scholarship Scheme, the Scheduled Tribe Post Admission Scholarship Scheme, the Chief Minister Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Post Admission Scholarship Scheme, and the Chief Minister Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Post Admission Scholarship Scheme 2024. Applications can be made only through online mode. For this, separate portals have been made available to the students of different categories. Students of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category will apply at https://scstpmsonline.bihar.gov.in, while students of Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class will be able to apply at https://pmsonline.bihar.gov.in. At the same time, the concerned educational institutions have been given the responsibility of verification by logging on to the https://instpmsonline.bihar.gov.in portal.

The education department has clarified that no application should be kept pending. After receiving the application on the portal, its investigation and verification will be done on time at the institute level. If any application is kept pending without a reason, then the entire responsibility will be of the concerned institute. The education department of the district has also advised the students to submit their applications with all the necessary documents, keeping in mind the deadline. Students who do not have the necessary documents, like an Aadhar card, bank account, and income certificate, should prepare them in time. The department has said that late applications or forms with incomplete documents will not be accepted.
