BSF has released recruitment for the posts of Head Constable Radio Operator and Radio Mechanic. Candidates can apply online till 23 September 2025.

There is great news for the youth who dream of a government job in the Border Security Force (BSF). BSF has released recruitment for the posts of Head Constable Radio Operator (RO) and Radio Mechanic (RM). The application process for this has started from 24 August 2025, and interested candidates can apply online till 23 September 2025.

The application process is completely online, and candidates have to fill out the form by visiting the official website of BSF at rectt.bsf.gov.in. Candidates can also apply for recruitment through the steps given here.

Who can apply?

This recruitment drive will recruit a total of 1121 posts. To join this recruitment, candidates have to fulfill some minimum educational qualifications. The candidate must have passed class 12th with at least 60 percent marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects. Then the candidate must have obtained a two-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade after matriculation.

What is the age limit?

The age limit has also been fixed for BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2025. The age of the candidates of General category (Unreserved) should be up to 25 years. The maximum age for OBC category has been kept at 28 years. The maximum age limit for SC and ST category candidates is 30 years. Reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per rules.

How will the selection process be?

First stage: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Second stage: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Third stage: Document Verification, Dictation Test and Paragraph Reading Test (for RO post only) and Detailed/Review Medical Examination (DMR/RME)

Step 4: First register by filling the required information.

Step 5: After completing the registration, complete the application form by filling the remaining details.

Step 6: Now the candidates should pay the application fee.

Step 7: Finally, the candidates should keep the printout of the filled form safe.
