Mumbai: Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in news recently for their alleged divorce case.

Amid the buzz over their marital problems, Sunita claimed that her son Yash’s debut Bollywood film is going to be far better than Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda’s ‘Saiyaara’

During a recent chat with Eat Travel Repeat, a fan commented, “Yashvardhan itna handsome hai. Saiyaara mein usse hi hona chahiye tha.’Yashvardhan is so handsome. He should have been the hero in Saiyaara.”

Sunita replied, “I wish. But usse better picture kar raha hai Yash. (I wish so. But, Yash is doing a better picture than Saiyaara.)”

Sunita then shared that while she hasn’t watched ‘Saiyaara’, her son Yash has seen it twice.

“Maine abhi tak dekhi nahi hai. Yash ne do baar dekhi hai. Main dekhungi, mujhe dekhna hai. But abhi 14 tareek ko shayad aa raha hai naa Netflix pe (laughs). But good good. Best of luck to all the kids who are coming up. And I want ki sab bachhe khoob naam kamaye.(I haven’t seen the movie yet. Yash has seen it twice. But, now it is coming on Netflix on 14th. Good good. I want all the kids to earn fame and success.)”

Asked about her bond with Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani, Sunita shared, “Yash ke saath hai uska. I have not met her still, like ‘met her’ met her. But Raveena ne mujhe phone ki thi, trial mein aane ke liye. Main Jaipur mein thi, Khatu Shyam. Main pooja kar rahi thi. Toh I told her I couldn’t come. But maine theatre mein jaake dekhi picture, achhi lagi mujhe. She’s a sweet girl. Raveena ka bachpan yaad aata hai. (She is with Yash. Raveena had called me up for The Trial. I was in Jaipur at that time. I was attending a pooja. But I saw the movie in the theatre. I liked it. She reminds me of Raveena.)”

Meanwhile, Yashvardhan is preparing for his Bollywood debut, a remake of Sai Rajesh’s 2023 Telugu movie ‘Baby’.
