South superstar Rajinikanth’s film Coolie has earned significantly over the course of two weeks. The film is performing well especially considering its budget. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj the gangster drama has now entered its second week of release. The film saw impressive earnings over the weekend particularly on Saturday and Sunday. However it witnessed a decline on the second Monday. Let’s take a look at how much it collected. Coolie was released on August 14 and had a solid start with an opening of Rs 65 crore. On the second day it collected Rs 54.75 crore followed by Rs 39.5 crore on Saturday the third day. Having crossed the Rs 100 crore mark by its second day the film went on to earn Rs 229.65 crore in its first week. Coolie box office collection day 12 in India The film’s earnings began to decline in the second week. However it still performed well over the weekend. On Sunday (Day 11) Coolie collected Rs 11.35 crore. On the 12th day according to the available data the film earned only Rs 3 crore bringing its net collection in India to Rs 260 crore.
