
Eaterial, a parent company of Jomato and Blinkit, has received GST notice. Eaterial, owned by Jomato and Blinkit brand, has received three orders from the GST department, including tax demand of more than Rs 40 crore, including interest and fine. On the demand notice of GST, Eternon's company Jomato said that it would appeal against the tax demand order from Bangalore's Joint Commissioner-4 to July 2017 to March 2020.

Jomato reported in a regulatory filing on Monday night that he received 3 orders from the Joint Commissioner of Bengaluru, Appel-4 on 25 August 2025, which confirmed a GST demand of Rs 17.19 crore along with an interest of 21.42 crore and a penalty of 1.72 crore. He said that we feel that our case is strong, which is also supported by the opinion of the lawyers, and the company will file an appeal before the proper authority against these orders.
