
New Delhi. There is great news for hockey lovers. Hockey India on Tuesday announced that the entry of the audience in all the matches of Hero Men Asia Cup Rajgir, Bihar 2025 will be completely free. This tournament to be held in the newly built Rajgir Hockey Stadium from 29 August to 7 September is going to be a historic festival of hockey on the land of Bihar. Fans can register on www.ticketgenie.in or Hockey India app to get their free tickets. After registration, they will get virtual tickets, which will enable the entry into the stadium easily and without any hassle.
On this occasion, President of Hockey India, Dr. Dilip Tirkey said, “Hero Men Asia Cup hosting in Rajgir is a historic moment for Indian hockey. We want every fan to be a part of this journey. The purpose of keeping the entry free is to bring more and more people so that family, student and young players can enjoy world -class hockey.
Hockey India General Secretary Bhola Nath Singh also expressed happiness, saying, “We are very excited that the audience will get free entry for all matches. Rajgir has shown tremendous enthusiasm towards hockey and we believe that the audience will come in large numbers. This initiative is our resolve to strengthen hockey culture across India.”
Top eight teams from Asia will participate in this tournament – India, Japan, China, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Korea, Bangladesh and Chinese Taipei. The tournament is also a qualifier for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026, which will make every match more exciting. The Indian team is placed in Pool-A with Japan, China and Kazakhstan. India will launch its campaign against China on August 29, take on Japan on 31 August and will play its last pool match from Kazakhstan on 1 September.
