According to the information, the center of the earthquake was not much below the ground, its depth is just 10 kilometers. Usually low -depth earthquakes are considered more dangerous because their energy affects the surface more. Let us tell you that the Tibetan plateau is a very active area. It falls in a zone with a collision of Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates, due to which earthquakes often occur here. Earlier, earthquake tremors have been felt in Tibet in recent times. The National Earthquake Science Center said that an earthquake of 3.7 magnitude on July 27 and 3.6 on July 24 was also recorded in the region. These continuous tremors have once again outlined the geological movement in the area.
