The Tinder Swindler star Cecilie Fjellhøy is making a comeback on television in a fresh romance fraud documentary, arriving on Netflix next week. Launching on September 5, Love Con Revenge sees Cecilie team up with private investigator Brianne Joseph as they help fraud victims.
Cecilie herself allegedly lost more than £200,000 to convicted fraudster Simon Leviev (born Shimon Hayut), and told her story in the 2022 documentary, the Tinder Swindler. The programme alleges Leviev exploited Tinder to establish relationships with women and deceive them into loaning him money, with no plans to pay it back. Whilst Cecilie, together with Pernilla Sjöholm and Ayleen Charlotte, opened up in the two-hour programme, Leviev has not faced charges for his alleged crimes and denies any wrongdoing, reports the Mirror.

Love Con Revenge, spanning six episodes, will similarly expose fraudsters who have created false connections with their targets, in order to rob them.
The synopsis reveals: "Financial scams are nothing new, but romance fraud - where con artists use fake personas to gain someone's love and trust in order to steal their money - has been on the rise in recent years, especially with the popularization of dating apps."
It continues: "In the new series Love Con Revenge, former romance fraud victim Cecilie teams up with private investigator Brianne Joseph to delve into real schemes on behalf of women and men who can't find help through traditional avenues.
"Cecilie's own experience with a notorious romance scammer was featured in The Tinder Swindler. Now she and Brianne are on a mission to unmask scammers and help victims take back control."

Following her initial Netflix appearance, Cecilie has shot to fame as a motivational speaker, amassing more than 200K Instagram followers.
Discussing the upcoming series, the television presenter revealed: "I never imagined my personal story would resonate the way it has. Since The Tinder Swindler, I've heard from people all over the world who've been targeted by criminals hiding behind love.
"Love Con Revenge is a way for me to use what I've learned to help others heal, reclaim their voices, their power, and their lives."
