
The mountains are raining from the sky these days. A painful incident of cloudburst in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir has caused huge havoc, in which 4 people lost their lives. This sudden incident saw a dreadful scene of floods and landslides in the area. The incident occurred in the darkness of the night in a village in Doda, where there was a lot of rain in a very short time due to cloudburst. The water flood was so fast that no one got a chance to recover. This water brought with a large amount of debris and stone with them destroyed everything that came in the way. In addition, about 10 houses have suffered heavy damage, and many families have become homeless. This sudden disaster has put people in deep shock. Relief and rescue teams have reached the spot and are working to evacuate the people trapped in the debris and help the affected. The incident once again reminds how sensitive and dangerous the mountainous areas become during the monsoon season. The administration is constantly appealing to the people to be vigilant and to stay in safe places.
