
PV Sindhu News: Two -time Olympic medalist, India’s star badminton player and former champion PV Sindhu on Tuesday defeated Bulgaria’s Kaloyan Nalbantova in straight games, recovering from a poor start at the BWF World Badminton Championship in Paris.
World number 15 Sindhu looked a bit uncomfortable in the beginning, but gradually she grabbed her rhythm and performed brilliantly in her aggressive game, defeating the 69th ranked Bulgaria player 23-21, 21-6 in her first round match of women’s singles.
