16.5 lakh violations in 7 months
According to the data of the traffic department, a total of 16.5 lakh traffic rules have been violated in the last 7 months. Most of these cases are to two -wheelers. About 9 lakh challans were cut without running a helmet, which is the largest part of the total violations.

Red light and over speeding problem
After a helmet, cases of red light breaking and over speeding are also quite high. Every day thousands of people are putting their lives in danger, affecting the safety of not only their but also others.

Increase in accidents
The result of ignoring traffic rules is coming out as an increase in road accidents. By May this year compared to last year, road accidents have increased by about 5 percent, while strict instructions have been issued by the government and administration for road safety.

No helmet, no fuel campaign status
The Traffic Police and Transport Department had launched no helmet, no fuel campaign in the last months, giving strict instructions not to give fuel without helmets at petrol pumps. However, it has now been revealed that people are being given fuel at many petrol pumps without helmets.
