The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) on Amazon Prime Video sees the drama ramp up this week in episode eight, as the storyline approaches a pivotal moment with some viewers eager to discover how everything concludes, reports the Mirror.

In the previous episode, Conrad (portrayed by Christopher Briney) declared his eternal love for Belly (Lola Tung) after discovering her fiance and his brother Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) had been unfaithful.

Although she had already admitted to Taylor (Rain Spencer) that it's "always" been Conrad she envisioned at her wedding, Belly deceived him and claimed she only had feelings for Jeremiah.

Prior to episode eight of TSITP, viewers have been eagerly speculating about how the upcoming instalment will unfold on Reddit.

One viewer posted on the platform: "I am hoping next episode is one of the longer ones and they combine the rehearsal dinner and wedding so we can get to the Paris content."

Meanwhile, a second contributed: "i came here to say i hope this too but i was just rereading the book where the shows left off and i bet they'll break it into two my prediction: episode 8- day before the wedding (Taylor confronting conrad, conrad confronting belly, belly telling Jer, rehearsal dinner) episode 9- wedding and immediate aftermath [sic]."

A third individual shared their expectations: "Could next ep be a supersized one? I could see it ending with her landing in Paris or going or whatever.

"I think the scene of belly and Jere from the trailer I see how he looks at you (whatever), Taylor is gonna have her call out convo w Conrad whatever, I think Jere gonna punch him too lol so that's the letters.

"I'm wondering if this golden wedding sequence from the trailer is her dreaming and / or I can't tell if I'm grasping for straws waiting for her to be dreaming of Conrad. They gonna call off that MF wedding [sic]."

An observant fan on Reddit pointed out: "Next ep on imdb has production management listed as Paris? ? Does that mean Paris is next ep? [sic]."

Another chimed in: "i know a lot of people predicted we'd get a dream sequence in episode 7 but i think episode 8 will start off with one (where she imagines conrad at the altar). i think that's when belly will realize that it's not just "wedding stress", but instead her being in two minds. she'll try to ignore it throughout the rehearsal dinner, but then jeremiah will do something on the morning of the wedding that makes her snap completely and call things off [sic]."

Alongside theories predicting Jeremiah and Belly calling off their wedding and a massive fallout between the two brothers, numerous fans are pleading with co-showrunner and creator Jenny Han for one major thing.

One individual pleaded: "PLEASE FREE US JENNY HAN. PLEASE FREE US FROM THIS SUFFERING. NO MORE JERE AND BELLY CONTENT. PLEASE END IT FOR US QUICKLY IN EPISODE 8 I BEG OF YOU. We need a time jump. I need Connie baby [sic]."

Another echoed similar feelings: "real pls free me from jelly completely [sic]."

A third chimed in: "I AM SO DONE PLS FREE US JENNY HAN [sic]."

Given that the TSITP TV series has remained true to the original material, it seems likely that fans could be correct in predicting the next episode will see the end of Belly's upcoming wedding.

However, the programme has previously made alterations for television adaptation, so there may be deviations from the books and viewers will have to patiently wait to see how events unfold.
