Paan Modak is a unique and delicious fusion dessert, in which the flavor of betel and gulkand is prepared as modak. Let’s know how to make it.

Material (Ganesh Chaturthi Special, Paan Modak Recipe)
For stuffing

- Betel leaves (Beed Paan)-2-3 fresh
- Gulkand – 2 Table Spoon
- Sweet fennel – 1 table spoon
- Sliced dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios) – 1 table spoon
- Coconut Bura – 1 T Spoon
For outer layer (modak cover)
- Khoya/Mawa (roasted) – 1 cup
- Conduced milk or ground sugar – 2 tablespoons
- Paan Flavor Syrup/Paan Masala – 1 Table Spoon
- Green Food Color (Optional)

Method (Ganesh Chaturthi Special, Paan Modak Recipe)
- Wash and cut betel leaves finely. Add betel leaves, gulkand, fennel, dry fruits and coconut boora to a bowl and mix. Keep it in the fridge for some time so that it sets a bit.
- Put mawa in the pan and fry lightly on low flame. Add condensed milk (or ground sugar), paan syrup and green color to it. Make a thick mixture while mixing. When the mixture starts leaving the pan, turn off the gas and let it cool (so that it can touch with the hand).
- Take a little mawa mixture and fill 1 teaspoon of stuffing in it. Give the shape of modak with the help of hand or modak mold. Make all the modaks in this way.
- Let the paan modak be set in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Serve cold. This dessert melts in the mouth.
