Organizing special cleanliness drive

In Gurugram, Sumit Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, organized a special cleanliness drive on Civil Lines Road on Tuesday. In this campaign, officers, public representatives, employees and local residents together cleaned and spread the message of clean Gurugram. CEO Sumit Kumar and Councilor Ashish Gupta started this drive by picking up dirt themselves.

Importance of plantation and hygiene

Under this campaign, thorough cleaning of roads and surrounding areas was done. Its garbage, debris, polythene and construction waste were picked up. In addition, illegal banners and hoardings on walls, poles and trees were also removed. Plantation was also done by linking the campaign with Green Gurugram and environmental protection. On this occasion, the participants appealed to the citizens to cooperate in the cleaning system and play their role in making the city clean and green.

Participation of citizens

Corporation councilor Ashish Gupta, Pawan Saini, BDPO Sachet Mittal and Municipal Corporation Gurugram staff were also actively involved in this campaign. Chief Executive Officer Sumit Kumar said that the participation of citizens is very important to make cleanliness a mass movement. He said that the municipal corporation and district administration are constantly making efforts to make the city clean and beautiful. Citizens should take care of cleaning their surrounding areas like cleaning their home.
