B Tech Admission: If you had a plan to do B Tech after 12th, but could not appear in JEE Mains for some reason, then there is good news for you. Now you can do B.Tech from UP. Preparations have started for this. Actually, 70 thousand B Tech seats are still vacant in UP. To fill these, there is now a preparation to give admission without JEE and CUET UG.

AKTU has done 5 rounds of counseling

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) conducts the counseling process for admission in engineering, i.e., B Tech seats in UP. For example, most of the engineering colleges in the state give admission under the counseling process of AKTU. AKTU has conducted 5 rounds of the counselling process for admission in B.Tech seats this year. According to the information, 31 thousand seats of B.Tech were filled till 5 rounds of counselling. Whereas 4 thousand registrations have been done for 6 rounds of counselling. While 70 thousand seats are left vacant. Out of this, about 1900 seats are left vacant in government engineering colleges. Now, AKTU is going to conduct a special counselling process to fill all these seats.

Special counselling to fill vacant B.Tech seats

AKTU has released the program of special counselling to fill the vacant seats of B.Tech. Under this special counselling, two rounds will be conducted for admission in B.Tech. Admission in these two special counselling rounds will be done based on JEE, CUET UG as well as 12th marks.

Registration and fees for the first round of special counselling can be deposited till 28 August. Choice filling can be done till 31st August. Seat allotment will be done on 2nd September. The registration process for the second round of special counselling will be conducted on 7th and 8th September. During this time, candidates will have to deposit the fees. Choice filling can be done till 10th September. Seat allotment will be done on 11th September.
