
Serious Incident at Amethi Chemical Plant
A severe fire erupted in a chemical factory located in the Kamrauli police jurisdiction of Amethi district on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in serious injuries to four workers, according to police reports.
As per the authorities, operations were ongoing at the factory when the fire suddenly broke out, causing chaos among the workers. Four individuals were caught in the blaze and suffered burns.
Emergency services, including police and fire brigade units, quickly arrived at the scene to control the flames.
Atul Kumar Singh, the Circle Officer of Musafirkhana, stated that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. He further reported that the injured workers—Jayprakash (50) from Byoremaw Shukl Bazaar, Ashok (48) and Ram Awadh (52) from Dhundehri, and Santosh (50) from Road Number Four—were admitted to the Jagdishpur Community Health Center for treatment.
