Coolie’s global distributor Hamsini Entertainment has raised an alert about certain social media pages spreading false information regarding the film’s box office collections. Coolie which was released on August 14th and clashed with War 2 stars Superstar Rajinikanth Nagarjuna Upendra Chaubin Saheer Shruti Haasan Sathyaraj Nithya Ram Khanna Ravi and Aamir Khan. The film is produced by Sun Pictures. Furthermore Hamsini Entertainment which has acquired the overseas rights to the film Coolie has warned that action will be taken against box office trackers who spread false information about the films box office collections. The controversy appears to have arisen after certain social media pages shared posters claiming that Coolie had crossed the ₹500 crore mark. In response Hamsini Entertainment has issued a warning stating that some unofficial groups and pages are spreading false information about the film’s global box office performance. The company released an official statement clarifying that only the producers and Hamsini Entertainment (the overseas distributor) are authorized to disclose the actual box office figures. The statement emphasized that any other collection numbers circulating online are unverified and should not be considered authentic.
