Defense minister rajnath singh: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Wednesday that in view of unpredictable geopolitical conditions, the armed forces of the country should be prepared for all kinds of security challenges including short-term struggles to five years of war. Singh said, “In today’s era, war has become so suddenly and unexpected that it is very difficult to guess when a war will end and how long will it last.” He said that the Indian armed forces should be ready for every situation.
The Defense Minister said, “This means that if a war lasts for two months, four months, one year, even five years, then we should be fully prepared for him.” Singh stressed that national security is no longer a matter of army, but it has become the issue of “attraction of the entire nation”.

Singh said, “The size of only the number of soldiers or arms reserves is no longer sufficient. Cyber war, AI, unmanned air-vehicle and satellite-based monitoring system is shaping future wars.”
He said, “In the coming times, the nation that will master the trio of technology, strategy and adaptability will emerge as a true global power. Simply say, it is time to learn from history and write a new history. It is time to estimate and shape it.”
Singh said that future wars will not only be a fight to arms, but they will be mixed forms of technology, intelligence, economy and diplomacy. The Minister of Defense also insisted that national security is no longer a matter of army, but it has become an issue of ‘approach of the entire nation’.
He appreciated the three armies for ‘Operation Sindoor’ and said that the campaign has emerged as a great example of India’s indigenous forums, equipment and success of weapons systems.
Singh said, “The achievements of this campaign have once again underlined that self -sufficiency is an ultimate need in the coming time. We have made significant progress on the path of self -reliance, but we still have to go a long way.”
The Defense Minister said that the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’ is the ‘excellent example’ of bravery and speed with which the Indian armed forces took action against terrorists in Pakistan.
He said that this campaign was such that these terrorists would never have imagined. Sasin said, “If we talk about operation vermilion, it was a really amazing performance of technology-operated war policy.” The two -day seminar on the theme of ‘Impact of Technology on War Art’ was organized after ‘Operation Sindoor’. However, army officials have clarified that the program was planned long before ‘Operation Sindoor’ was launched.
In ‘Ran Dialogue 2025’, officers of the three armies discussed the current and future challenges of the defense sector and measures to deal with them. During this time joint principles for the operation and air campaigns of special forces were also released.
