Hrithik Roshan’s 3 BHK Andheri West Flat And The New Renter

Hrithik Roshan has reportedly leased out his luxurious sea-facing 3BHK apartment to Saba at a significantly reduced rent of ₹75,000 per month. In comparison, similar properties in the same neighbourhood usually cost anywhere between ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh monthly.

The flat, sprawling across an impressive 12,000 square feet, is situated on the 18th floor of Mannat Apartments, a high-end residential tower on the Juhu-Versova Link Road in Andheri West, considered one of Mumbai’s most exclusive addresses.

Back in October 2020, Hrithik made headlines when he purchased not just this apartment but also a lavish duplex spread across the 19th and 20th floors of the same building.

The combined deal was reportedly sealed at around ₹97.5 crore, which, when adjusted for inflation, rounds up to nearly ₹100 crore, according to Hindustan Times. The move further cemented his status as one of the few Bollywood stars investing heavily in prime Mumbai real estate.

What Do Tax Experts Say?

Aditya Zantye, a chartered accountant based in Mumbai, noted that he wasn’t familiar with the exact details of Hrithik Roshan’s deal or the tax arrangements involved. However, he told HT, Generally speaking, one can treat up to two properties as self-occupied; beyond that, tax on notional rent applies.”

"So, instead of keeping additional properties vacant, it is better to rent them. However, I am not indicating that this is the case here,” added Aditya.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for his superhero movie Krrish 4 after his last spy universe movie War 2 opposite Jr. NTR.
