During his visit to South Korea, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai conducted a significant meeting in Seoul with Mr. Lee Jae Jeng, the Chairman of the Advanced Technology Centre Association (ATCA), along with senior officials from the organization. ATCA is a prominent industrial network comprising over 60 leading companies in sectors such as IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.

The Chief Minister welcomed the ATCA delegation and emphasized the Chhattisgarh government's dedication to fostering an investor-friendly atmosphere. He extended an invitation to Mr. Lee and his team to visit Chhattisgarh during their upcoming trip to India to explore investment and collaboration opportunities in the state.

In response, ATCA expressed a keen interest in establishing B2B partnerships with local firms in Chhattisgarh. CM Sai pointed out that the state is home to prestigious institutions like IIT, IIM, NIT, and AIIMS, which nurture world-class talent. He highlighted that Chhattisgarh’s plug-and-play infrastructure and robust logistics network make it an ideal location for ATCA’s research and development centers and its expansion in India.

The Chief Minister remarked, 'Chhattisgarh is rapidly advancing with industry-friendly policies, abundant natural resources, skilled workforce, and strong infrastructure.' He noted that sectors such as IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and textiles offer vast collaboration opportunities. 'We invite ATCA companies to invest and achieve new milestones in partnership, which will create significant employment for the youth and strengthen local industries,' he added.

While in South Korea, CM Sai also participated in the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program in Seoul, organized with the assistance of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK). He portrayed Chhattisgarh as a land of great potential for South Korean businesses, highlighting that South Korea ranks among India's top three steel export markets. As a leading steel producer, Chhattisgarh is eager to enhance this collaboration and explore new investment avenues.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Sai noted that Chhattisgarh is rich in mineral resources essential for the automobile and electronics sectors. 'The state possesses substantial lithium reserves, which can drive the electric vehicle revolution and support new-age industries, positioning Chhattisgarh as a natural hub for the global energy transition,' he stated.

On this occasion, CM Sai announced the onboarding of ICCK as a Knowledge Partner. He mentioned that under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024–30, this partnership will guide advancements in technology, skill development, and global collaborations. 'With Korea’s innovation and Chhattisgarh’s resources, we will embark on a new growth era,' the Chief Minister asserted.

He reiterated the state government's commitment to supporting every investor at all stages, whether through single-window clearance, land allocation, regulatory approvals, or favorable policies. CM Sai expressed optimism that the involvement of South Korean companies will unveil new opportunities in Chhattisgarh’s industrial landscape and elevate India-South Korea cooperation to new heights.
