Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced a big recruitment. The company has issued an official notification to take out the recruitment of 1543 posts of Field Engineer and Field Supervisor.

Who can apply?

Educational qualification has been fixed to become a field engineer and supervisor. The candidate should have BE, BTech or BSc engineering degree from a recognized institute. It is necessary to bring a minimum of 55% marks. Apart from this, some special eligibility is also necessary which will have to be fulfilled by reading the candidates carefully. How much will you get salary?

Selected candidates for the post of Field Engineer will get salary from 30,000 to 1,20,000 rupees every month. At the same time, candidates selected for the post of Field Supervisor will be given salary from Rs 23,000 to 1,05,000. That is, there is a great opportunity to make a career with good package on both posts.

What is the age limit?

The maximum age of the candidates has been fixed at 29 years. However, according to the rules of the government, reserved classes will be given age relaxation. SC/ST candidates will be given a discount of 5 years. While OBC candidates will get a discount of 3 years. Divyang candidates will be given a discount of 10 years.

How will the selection process be?

The recruitment examination of the power grid will be completely transparent and merit basis. Candidates will have to take the written examination first. The candidate will get 1 marks on every correct answer. The special thing is that there will be no negative marking in the exam, that is, numbers will not be deducted on the wrong answer. This is a big plus point for candidates.
