New Delhi: The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) unveiled the Virender Sehwag Gate at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium (now Arun Jaitley Stadium) to honor the legendary cricketer earlier in October 2017. Sehwag who is widely regarded for revolutionizing the role of a Test opener scored two triple-centuries in the format with exceptional hand-eye coordination contributions to two World Cup victories and a reputation as one of India’s finest match-winners. Seven years later in the second season of Delhi Premier League (DPL) his older son Aaryavir made a striking debut at the same stadium.
