
Central government ban on online money game
Dream 11: The central government has banned online money games. This decision has caused losses not only Dream 11, but many other companies under the Money Gaming Act. The government has shown strictness on the apps which were involved in the transaction of money. However, now a challenge has been presented in the Karnataka High Court regarding this online gaming law. The case will be heard on 30 August, in which the court will pronounce its decision. Online gaming company A23 has filed a petition against this law in the Karnataka High Court. It is noteworthy that the Central Government recently introduced a bill in Parliament to ban online money gaming, which was approved by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
