Samsung India launches CT portfolio! Be careful about transforming into rug-focated imaging

Samsung India has launched its Next-Generation Mobile CT product portfolio in India, which has a confluence of patient-centric design, AI-helpful imaging and dynamics. The CT scanner range, which is brought by the subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Company Limited, will provide patients on the bed, increase security and make treatment decisions fast. These solutions will enable hospitals as well as hospitals in rural and remote areas.

This portfolio includes Serratom Elite, Omnitom Elite, Omnitom Elite PCD and BodyTom 1/3. Ceretom is an elaite 3-slices scanner with an efficient imaging with battery capacity for 2 hours. Omnitom elite has a 5 cm opening, ultra high resolution mode and battery capacity of 1.5 hours, as well as complex surgical time such as Deep Brain Stimulation. Omnitom Elite PCD has an advanced photon counting detector technology with high quality images and improved artifact reduction. Bodystom 1/3 is a full body’s 1/3 slices scanner with a 3 cm opening and a 3 -hour lithium polymer battery.

Samsung’s mobile CT solutions are useful in several sections, including neurosurgery, emergency department, oncology, pediatric units. In interview radiology, these scanners are efficient for biopsy, drainage, and abbey, while a safe solution for pediatric imaging is available.

Samsung India’s MME Business Chief Atanu Das Gupta said, “Mobile CT portfolio will make advanced medical imaging available in India, enable healthcare providers and improve the patient’s discrimination.” These systems easily combine with hospital PACS and EMR systems, which gives a fast and accurate diagnosis.
