Mumbai. A reaction can be seen in the market today regarding the 48th annual general meeting of Reliance Industries. This AGM will be held at 2 pm on Friday, at 2 pm, in which the eyes of investors from India and abroad will rest on the future plans and strategic announcements of the company. In this meeting, the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani will address about 44 lakh shareholders.

Mukesh Ambani -led Reliance Industries has fixed the AGM date on 29 August and can be seen on the official YouTube channel and major business news channels of Live Company. Eligible shareholders have been identified based on the cut-off date of 22 August to participate in AGM and vote.

What are the opinions of global brokerage firms
Global brokerage firms such as Jeffers, JP Morgan and CLSA have repeated positive opinions on RIL share. JP Morgan has a target of ₹ 1,695 (till September 2026). The target of Jefferies is ₹ 1,670 and the target of CLSA is ₹ 1,650. At the same time, UBS has recently resumed coverage and increased target price to ₹ 1,550.

AGM expectations
The biggest expectation from AGM this year is to Jio’s timeline of IPO (initial public offering). According to market experts, given the growth rate and cash flow of Jio, its AI projects, media and the company’s strategy on consumer business expansion will be important.

Trading trend of RIL shares before AGM
The first Reliance shares of AGM saw a mild strength and on Thursday it was priced at Rs 1387.65. It has not changed a significant change in the last one month, but has received a return of about 15% in the last six months. The stocks are up 14% from the beginning of the year.
