Now not only chatting and video calling, but also documents of government services can be made on WhatsApp. For this, Delhi government is going to introduce a chatbot soon.
Whether it is getting a driving license or marriage certificate, now you will not need to go anywhere. You will be able to do all these works sitting at home through WhatsApp. Actually, Delhi government is working on a new initiative, under which people will be able to apply for marriage certificate and all documents related to government services sitting at home. This initiative has been named WhatsApp Governance. After this service starts, people will not have to face any hassle for government work nor will there be a need to wait in long queues.
These documents will be made on WhatsApp
Many government works including marriage certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate and driving license will be brought under WhatsApp Governance. People will be able to apply for these documents, verify and download their documents through WhatsApp. This entire process will be faster and people will not have to make rounds of government departments. It is also expected to curb corruption.
This is how this service will work
There will be an AI-powered chatbot on the WhatsApp Governance platform. It will work in Hindi and English languages. Along with helping the users, it will automate the entire service and will also provide information related to all the departments to the users. Initially, 25-30 services will be integrated on this platform. Later, other departments will also join it. For better coordination, it will be linked with Delhi's e-district portal.
How to use it?
Work is currently underway on this platform and information about its launch has not been revealed. After the launch, users will be able to start the application process by sending a message of Hi to the chatbot. This chatbot will give a form to the users. After filling the form and attaching the required documents, this form has to be uploaded. This process is going to be very easy.
