NEET UG 2025 Counselling: In NEET UG 2025 counselling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date for Round 1 seat resignation till 5 pm on 3 September. Earlier, this limit was 25 August. Now students can go to their allotted college and generate a resignation letter from the online portal, and will be able to participate in Round 2 without cancellation of the security deposit.

NEET UG 2025 Counseling: What is the new date?

According to the official notice, the last date for NEET UG Round 1 seat resignation was fixed as 25 August 2025. But now MCC has extended it to 3 September 2025 till 5 pm.

To leave the seat, candidates have to physically report to their allotted college. From there a resignation letter will be generated through the online portal. The good thing is that the security deposit of the candidate will not be cancelled during this process.
