A Coronation Street legend has stripped back the glamour for her soap fans as she "bares all" on social media, giving her followers the chance to get up close and personal with her real skin. The 68-year-old actress asked her fellow fans for the best tips and tricks to help both "tighten" and "brighten" her skin after claiming that her skin is "collapsing". Beverley Callard, best known for her role as Liz McDonald in Corrie, posted a short clip on social media opening up about her plans to "glow up" her look.

This comes after she recently flaunted her brand new sizeable leg tattoo. Alongside this video she shared: "I'm baring all... No make-up, no filter, just the raw and honest truth. I want to start sharing my skincare journey and asking for your best tips on how to get tighter, brighter, glowing skin.

"Let's talk real routines, anti-ageing, hydration, and glow-up hacks together." In the video itself she explains further the reasoning behind her mission to make small changes to her beauty routine.

The curly-haired star has previously shared a quick 15p anti-ageing trick with her fans but this time around gave them a close-up look at her face. She candidly said: "This is me. I'm in front of a window, and I've got no make-up on.

"I've got no moisturiser even, just my face so you can see how dull it is. My forehead is not that bad, but it's not that long since I had Botox - it does move. My eyes are not bad; I don't have hooded eyes. I don't know why; I just don't."

Pointing to the lines around her eyes, known as crow's feet, the Corrie star went on to say: "But I've got that there." She also drew attention to her smile lines that sit around her mouth and cheeks.

It was then that she jokes: "The worst bits are these - my face is sort of collapsing there." The TikTok clip posted under @beverleycallardreal gained a lot of attention from soap fans and other women who could relate to her problems, raking in over 100,000 views.

Fans were eager to compliment the actress, known for being rather glamorous on screen. One user shared: "You've got great skin for your age. And lucky to have a great eye area."

Another person said: "Still the glam Liz McDonald." While someone else commented: "I hope I look as good as you when I'm your age. You are honestly beautiful."

Meanwhile, one person said: "You're very brave. I'm struggling getting older; I'm 56 and feel invisible." Another user complimented the star by writing: "Ageing like a fine wine, you look great. Don't worry about a few wrinkles."
